Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)Location: Madrid, Spain Employment Type: Freelance Hybrid We are seeking an experiencedSite Reliability Engineer (SRE)to join a general technology team supporting large-scale cloud-native environments and business-critical applications. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, automation, observability, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of cloud platforms while driving automation, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives across international environments.

Own the operation, maintenance, and governance of public cloud infrastructure, including containers, virtual machines, storage, and networking services. Support and govern databases, middleware platforms, and cloud-native environments. Participate in on-call rotations and proactively resolve incidents, performance issues, and infrastructure bottlenecks.

Manage the deployment, release, and operational support of containerized and cloud-native applications. Strong experience withLinux administrationand networking concepts, includingTCP/IPand Hands-on expertise withKubernetes ,



including production support and operation of Kubernetes Operators.

Experience building and maintaining monitoring and observability solutions usingPrometheusandGrafana.

Experience with cloud-native gateway technologies such as: Nginx Kafka Python Understanding of international data privacy and compliance regulations, includingGDPR. Strong troubleshooting, automation, and problem-solving skills. Chinese language skillsare highly desirable due to regular collaboration with international engineering and operations teams.

Candidates with the legal right to work in Spain are preferred. Qualified international candidates who meet the technical requirements will also be considered. Exposure to modern cloud-native platforms and large-scale infrastructure.

Participation in challenging transformation and automation initiatives. Work with cutting-edge technologies across Kubernetes, Dev Ops, SRE, cloud operations, and platform engineering.
