We are looking for a person with availability to fill a permanent vacancy in our Technical Center in Tarragona.
This is the department in charge of performing product development of polypropylene compounds for the automotive industry.
Position Summary
Perform a color match against a customer standard or reference (from automotive OEMs) by mixing several pigments combinations into a polypropylene matrix and evaluate the color match by visual and by spectrometric assessment
- - Select the pigments to be used according to the specified requirements.
- - Mix the pigments, additives and other raw materials with a quick mixer and extrude the full mixture.
- - By injection molding of the resulting pellets obtain plaques.
- - Analyze the colors with colorimeters and the visual assessment.
- - While a color match assess if the color data obtained by the colorimeter are fine.
- - Modify pigments combinations to match a color by visual assessment.
