The Opportunity
Be a part of a integral, diverse and dynamic team leading the charge in the energy transition. As a Supplier Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in strengthening our supply base and driving continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.
In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that suppliers consistently meet Hitachi Energy and customer requirements. You will lead supplier quality activities focused on risk mitigation, supplier development, quality assurance, and operational excellence, directly contributing to improved quality, delivery performance, and cost competitiveness.

How you'll make an impact
Lead supplier and material qualification and approval processes.
Drive Supplier Qualification, PPAP, and Supplier Classification activities.
Manage supplier non-conformities and validate corrective actions.
Analyze supplier quality KPIs including PPM, COPQ, audits, and claims.
Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and performance reviews.
Partner with Procurement and Engineering on supplier selection and industrialization activities.
Support new product introductions, design changes, supplier transfers, and process changes.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Your background
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments within Quality, Engineering, SCM, or Supplier Management.
