Within the MIS Develop. / Maintenance ED & FCAS (TASDM4) department of Airbus Defence & Space GmbH in Getafe, we specialize in IT solutions designed to guarantee airworthiness for airborne weapon systems, thereby enabling safe operations in operational and technical/logistical areas. Our years of experience in operating and supporting these systems for a wide range of internal and external customers and platforms drove the development of the modular and platform-independent ground support system MOSS (Maintenance and Operation Support Solution). In its first stage of expansion, MOSS is designed to continue ensuring the operation, repair, and aircraft maintenance of the Eurofighter.
With the recently launched European development project, the Eurodrone (MALE RPAS), MOSS must be extended to a new product that incorporates new requirements and current technologies titeled RLMIS (RPAS Logistic Management Information System).

Development Coordination and Integration.
The core responsibility of this position is to support the department in the specification of the MMD and the RLMIS owned MMD SW Components, with a specific focus on MALE RPAS-specific software modules and their integration into the overall system.
Your main tasks and responsibilities include:
Installation and Administration of the Getafe Laboratory which includes:
Installation and administration of Linux environments including RedHat Enterprise Linux
Configuration of Server Client Networks including DNS, DHCP, NFS, Identification & Authentification, Security Hardening
Virtualization technologies like VirtualBox, Proxmox, Hyper-V including installation and deployment.
Docker/Podman technologies including deployment, management, installation...
Scripting skills (Bash, Python, Ruby, ...).
