Intern Asset Management (with Portuguese) - Renewable Energy
Based in our Madrid office, you will join Aquila Capital as a Renewable Energy Asset Management Intern, supporting the management of a diversified portfolio of renewable energy assets across Europe and contributing to our mission of driving the global energy transition.
Working closely with experienced Commercial Asset Managers and other internal teams, you will gain hands-on exposure to the financial, commercial, and operational management of renewable energy investments, while supporting initiatives aimed at maximizing asset performance and value.
Your Responsibilities:




Asset Management Support: Assist Commercial Asset Managers in the day-to-day supervision of renewable energy assets and operating companies, supporting initiatives to preserve and enhance asset value.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Support the monitoring of operational and financial KPIs across a diversified renewable energy portfolio. Analyze asset performance, identify deviations and contribute to optimization initiatives.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Prepare, analyze and maintain financial and operational reports, dashboards and performance analyses using Excel and other analytical tools.
Commercial & Contractual Support: Gain exposure to key project agreements such as O&M;, PPA, TCMA, insurance, land lease and financing agreements, supporting contract monitoring and commercial analysis.
Financial Planning & Analysis: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modelling to supp
