Experteer Overview As a Staff Software Engineer on Stripe's UI Platform (Sail) team, you shape the technical direction for backend services powering merchant-facing experiences. You combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership across backend engineers and cross-functional partners to deliver scalable platform capabilities. You will define cross-team strategy and multi-year roadmaps, lead the design and delivery of scalable services, and build reusable platform components. You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to connect the design system, SDKs, APIs, and backend services, while mentoring the team and guiding architecture decisions.
