The General Procurement Center of Excellence, within the Solar division, intends to strengthen its team with the hiring of a Procurement Specialist – Solar & BESS.
What you will do:
- Drive and support the Procurement Manager Solar and BESS in all strategic initiatives towards the goal of achieving long-term partnerships with suppliers.2. Procurement Processes
- Execution of RFIs,
RFPs/RFQs and any necessary bid process to evaluate product options and select the right supplier for a given project or set of projects.
- Manage negotiations regarding purchase Solar and BESS supply agreements (Global Frame Agreements, Solar Supply/Warranty/O&M; contracts, etc), involving as required other EDP areas.
- Compliance with EDP internal approval processes and guidelines (procurement committees, formal capex approval systems, integrity due diligences, etc).
- Relationship Management
- Contribute to develop a close network with all Solar and BESS industry players and stakeholders having an impact on EDP Solar business, including current and potential entrant suppliers (provide strategic market intelligence).
- Cross-functional support/interaction/relationships with other EDP areas, playing a pivotal role:
- Legal - close interaction for support and full alignment on any binding contractual agreements, including the development of standardized processes and templates for all contracting efforts.
