Experteer Overview
As Senior Security Compliance Engineer, you will design and scale privacy-focused compliance systems within a integral tech org. You’ll translate regulatory requirements into practical engineering patterns, partnering with Security, Legal, Engineering, Product, and Player Experience to embed privacy by design. You’ll build automation and data controls to support data subject rights, retention, and risk mitigation. This is a hands-on role at scale, combining code, architecture, and regulatory insight to protect players and the business.

• Embed privacy by design into product, platform, and operational workflows
• Design, build, and improve privacy engineering capabilities for data subject rights, lifecycle management, and compliance
• Translate legal/regulatory requirements into technical requirements and implementation guidance
• Develop Python-based tools, services, and automations for privacy and compliance operations
• Support workflow orchestration using Temporal or similar platforms
• Operate privacy-related systems in AWS and similar cloud environments
• Write SQL to archive, purge, locate, and document data for privacy needs
• Collaborate with engineers and architects on data solutions that protect sensitive data
• Conduct privacy assessments, identify risks, and drive mitigation through tools and guidance
• Review new systems/data flows for privacy impact and design technical controls to reduce risk




• Partner with product/engineering to design privacy-preserving solutions including data minimization, retention, deletion, and access
• Manage projects from requirements to delivery and stakeholder communication
• Improve documentation, reporting, evidence collection, and operational processes for compliance
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and increase data quality via automation

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years in information security, privacy, compliance, or related technical role
• Hands-on Python development experience
• Strong background in software engineering, backend systems, security, data engineering, or data architecture
• Experience with AWS and cloud architectures
• Experience with Temporal or similar workflow orchestration tools
• Working knowledge of APIs, JSON, SQL
• Strong understanding of privacy engineering principles, privacy by design, and data subject rights/lifecycle controls
• Knowledge of privacy regulations such as GDPR
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, or COBIT frameworks
• Experience collaborating with Legal, Security, Product, and Engineering teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative mindset
• Experience leveraging or building AI-enabled tools to enhance GRC processes and automation
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and learn new technologies
• Experience with data systems and large datasets (data flows, retention, deletion, access patterns)
