About the Role

Reporting directly to the Duty Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the daily running of the retreat, ensuring that the facilities, guest rooms, and outdoor areas are maintained to a high standard of functionality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance, minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting repairs.
- Gardening and outdoor area maintenance duties (pruning, watering, path cleaning, and furniture upkeep).
- Basic pool maintenance, filter checks, and water quality testing.
- Regular inspection of facilities, lighting, air conditioning systems,



and electrical equipment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests logged in the system or reported by staff.
- Support with the assembly and moving of furniture in common areas and guest rooms.
- Manage and track stock levels for maintenance materials and tools.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, working discreetly to respect the peace and quiet of our guests.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in general maintenance, caretaking, or technical service roles (experience in a hospitality or retreat environment is desirable).
- Practical knowledge of basic plumbing, electricity, painting, and gardening.
- Occupational Health and Safety (PRL) training.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, organised, and able to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is desirable to effectively comm
