Every day, more than 800 media brands across five continents rely on Stibo DX's platforms to create and publish content. You will work in a distributed new team from our office in Málaga.
Define and govern the unified API strategy for CUE (REST and GraphQL), design standards, versioning, deprecation, breaking-change discipline, and consistency across teams.
Own event-driven architecture on Kafka , topic design, event contracts, schema evolution, CDC/streaming, and consistency models (ordering, idempotency, replay).
Establish data domains and governance ,



ownership models, schema definition and evolution, metadata, lineage, quality, classification, retention, and compliance readiness.
Align contracts with domain boundaries , connect bounded contexts, domain events, and service ownership to API, event, and data design, in close collaboration with the Software Architect.
Enable teams through architecture leadership , produce reference architectures and integration blueprints, shepherd ADRs, review high-risk designs, and coach teams on better patterns without blocking delivery.
10+ years in software/data engineering or architecture, with 5+ years in a senior role focused on integration, APIs, events, and/or data architecture
Strong experience with REST and GraphQL API design, versioning, and contract-first approaches
Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture in production , preferably Kafka
Experience defining data domains, ownership models, and da
