Your responsibilities:
Responsibility for the pricing process. As part of the Intraday Team, you will act as a liaison between Trading and Origination, helping to put optimal pricing strategies into practice and ensure a flawless pricing process.
Analyze power-market fundamentals, including load, generation mix,



grid constraints and fuel prices.
You will carry out detailed analyses of industry trends and regulatory changes in order to make well-founded decisions in the field of managing renewable energies in the Intraday market and balancing services.
Build and maintain valuation, forecasting, and risk models.
Optimizing existing pricing tools and adapting them to new requirements.
Development of innovative pricing strategies together with the Trading and Origination teams, to strengthen Alpiq’s competitiveness.
Continuous portfolio analysis and risk quantification to identify new business opportunities and support risk assessment and management.
Preparation of ad-hoc and risk management reports in accordance with internal guidelines to ensure decision making.

Your profile:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a focus on engineering, economics, finance or data science.
