Senior System Engineer

to join a

strategic modernization project based

in

Barcelona (Poblenou) .

In this role, you will play a

critical role in designing, building, and deploying the software platforms that will transform how global Datalink services are monitored, configured, and operated — modernizing legacy systems and defining the future architecture alongside international engineering teams across general infrastructure.

What will your main responsibilities be?
System Engineering:
Drive the architecture, definition and design

of next-generation Datalink Monitoring, Observability, Provisioning, and Configuration Management platforms.
Enforce engineering quality

through modern system definition, design practices, observability, and secure-by-design principles.




Participate in technical reviews

to ensure high-quality, maintainable, scalable, and supportable solutions.

Platform Modernization:
Contribute to the modernization of legacy assets

while supporting operational continuity.
Design provisioning and telemetry capabilities

leveraging

Kafka ,

Grafana Labs

ecosystems (Alloy, Loki, Mimir, Prometheus), and

OpenTelemetry Protocol .
Ensure proposed solutions are resilient, scalable, and production-ready

for long-term platform evolution.
Leverage state-of-the-art AI-powered tools

to increase productivity in system definition, documentation, and requirements management.

Cross-Team Collaboration:
Work closely with software engineers, architects, product managers, and operations teams

across Barcelona and Montreal.
Guide and align with the development team , contributing to technical strategy and long-term platform evolution.
