Experteer Overview
As a Mechanical/Civil Layout Designer, you translate engineering concepts into practical layouts and drawings for mechanical, civil, and structural work. You will collaborate with engineering personnel, produce 3D models and layouts, and ensure clarity, tolerances, and material specs align with manufacturing and installation needs. You’ll support on-site measurements, walk-downs, and document release within a nuclear facility environment. This hybrid role at Ascó offers cross-functional impact, hands-on problem solving, and growth in a safety‑critical industry.

Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Develop moderately complex layouts and digital models for manufacturing, installation or construction drawings
• Prepare layouts and drawings for items with critical structural, piping or mechanical clearances
• Coordinate drafting activities, provide technical guidance, ensure accurate outputs
• Analyze drawings and models for manufacturability/constructability, including dimensioning, tolerances, surface finish, and material specs
• Verify material usage and drawing formats such as bill of materials,



and ensure proper approvals and release
• Calculate dimensions, tolerances, fits, slopes, weights using engineering data and formulas
• Interpret specifications within established drawing principles
• Perform on-site measurements and assist with walk-downs and installation support in a nuclear facility

Responsabilidades
• Formación Cualificado technician or vocational qualification related to the technical discipline, or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial projects (nuclear preferred: at least 5 years)
• Proficiency with MICROSTATION (Connect version) and 3D tooling
• Experience with AVEVA E3D, AutoCAD, TEKLA Structures, PDS, SmartPlant3D
• EU citizen or authorized to work in Spain
• Fluent in Spanish; English is valuable
