Experteer Overview
As Principal Engineer evolving into an Architect role, you will define and steer the Merchant Experience platform architecture and technical direction. You will shape cross-team standards, guide architects and engineering groups, and drive high-impact solutions at scale. You’ll mentor engineers, provide hands-on guidance with POCs, and ensure architectural coherence with the broader platform strategy. This is a mission to elevate architecture practices and implement robust, scalable systems that support growth and transformation.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Own solutions and technical direction within the Merchant Experience pillar
• Make architecture decisions and review design docs to align with platform strategy and practices
• Contribute to engineering-wide strategy through the Architecture Council
• Guide development teams via POCs, design explanations, and issue resolution
• Investigate and resolve architecture-related challenges (performance, scalability,



integration)
• Mentor and scale technical influence across multiple teams
• Collaborate with architects to establish cohesive architecture practices and guardrails
• Act as Domain-Driven Design and architectural best practices authority within the pillar

Responsabilidades
• 10+ years of software engineering experience in senior roles (Staff/Principal Engineer, Lead Developer, or Software Architect)
• Expert understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles (theoretical and practical)
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring capabilities
• Proven experience in architecture decisions, design documentation, and guiding large-scale platforms
• Ability to collaborate across multiple engineering teams and architecture councils
