Experteer Overview
As an Area Sales Engineer, you will drive profitable growth in Northern Spain by growing the customer base and promoting PERI formwork and scaffolding solutions. You will work closely with customers, distributors, and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and deliver tailored technical and commercial proposals. Your role combines field sales with engineering consultancy to support both rental and ownership options. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to shape project outcomes, expand market presence, and enhance customer value through expert solutions.

• Identify and develop new customers while strengthening current accounts and monitoring market dynamics to grow market share in Northern Spain.
• Understand customer needs and project pipelines to spot high-value opportunities for growth.
• Maintain CRM records and manage the sales pipeline with reliable forecasting and prioritization.
• Develop tailored technical and commercial proposals, including formwork and scaffolding solutions, pricing strategies, and PERI standards alignment.
• Provide technical consultancy and propose suitable PERI solutions, addressing technical queries and promoting correct application of systems.
• Conduct regular customer visits, site inspections, product demos, and workshops to promote PERI innovations and grow rental and sales through upselling and cross-selling.




• Ensure accurate transfer of quotations and contracts to internal stakeholders and execute OTC activities in line with PERI processes.
• Support customers in understanding commercial and financial aspects of proposals, contracts, and invoices to foster trust and long-term satisfaction.

Responsabilidades
• 3–5 years of technical sales experience in formwork, scaffolding, construction equipment or related sectors.
• Strong formwork consulting expertise and technical knowledge of systems and their construction applications.
• Solid understanding of construction markets, customer needs, and project lifecycles.
• Established network and knowledge of the Northern Spain construction market (valued).
• Ability to read technical drawings and design basic technical solutions; understanding structural behavior of formwork/scaffolding.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Building Engineering or equivalent (alternative relevant experience considered).
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office and CRM systems; able to manage field-based sales activities and reporting.
• Professional English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Northern Spain.
