Experteer Overview
In this role you will own and scale the global compliance program for Ria’s wallet, ensuring safe, compliant cross-border operations. You’ll partner closely with product and engineering from day zero to embed controls in new features and markets. You will oversee regulatory engagements, licensing workstreams, and the deployment of financial crime tooling to protect end-to-end wallet flows. This is a hands-on, technical compliance leadership role with direct impact on product, speed, and risk management.

Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Own the general compliance programme for the wallet, including policies, risk assessments, monitoring and controls across markets
• Be the group-level SME on wallet economics: funding, stored value, tokenisation, interoperability, payouts, and cross-border flows
• Partner with product from inception to build in compliance controls for new features, markets and payment instruments
• Lead deployment and tuning of financial crime tooling (transaction monitoring, sanctions, KYC, fraud)

• Act as a key compliance voice in regulator relationships, supporting licensing and examinations
• Monitor regulatory developments (MiCA, PSD3, FinCEN rulemakings, local e-money regimes) and translate into actionable business decisions
• Report to senior management and VP of Compliance, Digital Products on risks and trade-offs

Responsabilidades
• 7+ years in AML/CTF, e-money, or fintech payments compliance
• Deep technical understanding of digital wallets end-to-end
• Global regulatory experience across regions
• Experience launching or scaling wallet/e-money/payments products
• Fluency with financial crime tech stack and collaboration with engineering/data teams
• Clear and direct communication with regulators and stakeholders
• Fluent in English and Spanish
