In this role you drive end-to-end security certification programs for SUSE’s enterprise portfolio, ensuring high-assurance compliance. You’ll translate certification requirements into actionable engineering work across Linux, KVM-based virtualization, and containerized HCI, while building AI-assisted automation for ongoing certification efforts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external labs to shape certified configurations and robust testing frameworks. This is a mission-driven opportunity to advance secure, open-source solutions at scale and influence certification-driven quality and trust.

• Maintain and integrate certification testing requirements into automated CI/CD workflows
• Coordinate with production engineering to implement architectural recommendations and security findings from labs

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years of computing experience in software product development, academia, or FOSS communities
• Strong Linux OS knowledge, KVM and containerized virtualization expertise
• Proficiency in Bash and Python; Ansible for configuration management
• Experience with Jira and Bugzilla; ability to work with AI-assisted productivity workflows
• Knowledge of security hardening, cryptographic standards, and compliance frameworks (OVAL, XCCDF, SCAP, STIGs)
• Strong English communication and meticulous technical documentation
