Experteer Overview
As Buyer Indirect Spend, you will lead indirect procurement across local plants, driving strategic sourcing and day-to-day purchasing for Opex and Capex. You’ll develop and mentor a procurement team, manage supplier performance, and deliver cost savings while mitigating risks. You’ll partner with engineering, project teams, and stakeholders to optimize specifications and ensure alignment with business objectives. This role offers visibility across multi-site operations and a chance to shape a measurable savings program.

• Manage indirect Opex and Capex spend across categories (processing equipment, utilities, civil works, MRO)
• Drive cost savings through strategic sourcing and spot-buy optimization
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies with stakeholders to improve cost, quality, and supplier performance
• Lead CapEx and MRO sourcing from planning through execution
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to optimize specifications and support business objectives
• Negotiate supplier agreements and terms in compliance with procurement policies
• Develop and monitor local savings program against financial targets
• Manage supplier performance, track procurement KPIs, and drive cost optimization and risk mitigation




• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and promote procurement best practices

Responsabilidades
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• 7+ years in procurement or strategic sourcing with a focus on indirect spend (CapEx, MRO, utilities, civil works)
• Experience managing sourcing across technical categories
• Proven success in leading sourcing projects, supplier negotiations, and contract management in multi-site environments
• Experience in capital equipment procurement with RFI/RFP, cost analysis, and supplier evaluation; understanding of total cost of ownership
• Desirable experience in food processing, pharmaceuticals, or chemicals industries
• Familiarity with digital procurement tools (Coupa, Maximo, SAP) and data-driven decision making
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects
• Knowledge of technical specifications and collaboration with engineering/operations teams
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Results-driven, analytical, and focused on continuous improvement and business value
