Our partner is looking for a Head of Sales based in Spain. As Head of Sales, you will build and lead the commercial engine that turns strong market demand, product usage signals, and customer interest into sustainable revenue growth. You will lead Account Executive and Sales Engineering teams, bringing them together around a unified, high-performing sales motion.
You will shape sales strategy, forecasting, organizational design, hiring, performance standards, and cross-functional operating models. You will also stay close to customers, personally supporting complex opportunities while empowering your team to operate independently. Success means creating qualified pipeline, improving conversion, developing exceptional talent, and building a scalable sales system.
This is an opportunity to make a significant commercial impact within a fast-growing, remote-first technology environment.
Own the Sales function: Set commercial goals, KPIs, operating cadences, headcount plans, budgets, organizational structure, executive reporting, and performance standards across Sales. Build a multi-motion sales system: Define how strategic enterprise, mid-market, product-led, outbound, partner, and regional opportunities are identified, qualified, staffed, and progressed across a growing product portfolio.
Generate qualified pipeline: Ensure high-potential product usage, sign-ups, inbound requests, support interactions, and target-account activity are quickly assigned to an owner with a clear next action. Expand the organization, hire exceptional talent, establish clear expectations for high performance, and coach both individual contributors and sales leaders. Participate regularly in customer conversations and personally lead or support opportunities involving significant commercial, technical, or organizational complexity.
Establish rigorous pipeline definitions, inspection practices,
and forecasting processes that distinguish qualified opportunity value from incomplete or loosely influenced demand. Build effective ways of working with Customer Growth, Partnerships, Marketing, Finance, Revenue Operations, Product, Engineering, Technical Account Management, and Support without creating duplicated ownership.
Turn sales activity into learning: Use discovery patterns, objections, migrations, wins, and losses to continuously improve playbooks, reusable assets, product feedback, and sales training. 5+ years of Sales leadership experience in a technically complex B2B environment, including responsibility for managers or senior team leads as well as individual contributors. ~ Multi-motion sales expertise: Demonstrated success across several motions, such as strategic enterprise, mid-market, product-led sales, focused outbound, channel, or regional selling. ~ Proven ability to create qualified pipeline rather than relying entirely on inbound demand or a large SDR organization. ~ Comfortable discussing technical concepts and potential migrations with Engineering and customers without relying on Sales Engineering for every conversation. ~ Strong commercial analytics: Fluent in pipeline inspection, forecasting, conversion analysis, capacity planning, performance management, and sales metrics. ~ Evidence of hiring, coaching, developing leaders, raising performance standards, and making challenging talent decisions when necessary. ~ Strong experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Partnerships, and post-sale teams.
~ Willingness to remain personally engaged with customers and active commercial opportunities as the organization scales. ~ Experience in a product-led or usage-based business where self-service remains an important customer acquisition or expansion path is highly valuable. ~ Sales Engineering collaboration: Experience building an effective Account Executive and Sales Engineering partnership. ~ Exposure to partner-sourced, international, or regional sales programs is beneficial. ~ Experience selling to stakeholders across Engineering, Product, Growth, Finance, Security, Legal, and Procurement is a plus. ~ Strategic, analytical, hands-on, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with multiple sales motions. Fully remote and versátil working environment. ~4–5 weeks of suggested time off annually to support mental, physical, and emotional recharge. ~$2,000 USD workspace setup allowance to help create an effective home-office environment. ~$1,000 USD annual learning stipend for continuous professional development. ~ Opportunity to build and scale a global Sales organization with significant ownership and influence. ~ Exposure to a broad range of enterprise, mid-market, product-led, outbound, partner, and international commercial motions. ~ Data Privacy Notice: By submitting your application, you acknowledge that Jobgether will process your personal data to evaluate your candidacy and share relevant information with the hiring employer.
