Experteer Overview
In this role you will advance plant HSE performance by aligning with internal standards and the HSE vision. You will work closely with production leadership to integrate HSE into plant processes, lead field presence, and drive toward a zero-incident culture. You will oversee regulatory compliance, training, and management system improvements, and you will act as a focal point for EHS concerns on site. This position offers hands-on impact in safety, environment, and operations within a collaborative, safety-driven culture.

• Support regulatory and corporate HSE requirements and define compliant programs
• Develop and maintain HSE-related training needs and deliver training as needed
• Support maintenance and improvements of management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
• Apply CI tools to ensure effective HSE controls and transparency
• Define and update site procedures, ensuring awareness among on-site personnel
• Foster HSE culture through coaching and leading by example
• Supervise on-site adherence to HSE rules, correcting behaviors and informing HSE Manager
• Act as the EHS focal point for field issues,
proposing improvements to prevent incidents
• Identify hazards and perform risk assessments with countermeasures
• Lead incident investigations with multidisciplinary teams and determine root causes
• Develop internal HSE inspections and support field legal reviews
• Provide HSE inductions for contractors and visitors
• Support project and program design/execution (e.g., MI, MOC, daily meetings)
• Support PSM initiatives (e.g., PHA analysis, Compliance calendar)
• Lead CAE meetings and activities during turnarounds
• Substitute for HSE Manager when unavailable, under Plant Leader coordination
• Contribute to achieving departmental, plant, and corporate objectives
• Be part of the on-call rotation team
Responsabilidades
• Chemist or Chemical Engineer (Preferred)
• Master's degree with specialized HSE topics
• Experience/knowledge of environmental and safety management systems (ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001)
• Experience: 7–10 years in the industry
• Languages: English and Spanish fluently
