As Senior Software Engineer in Infrastructure – Messaging u0026amp; Async Platform, you design, operate, and scale our messaging and event-driven system. You will build core async infrastructure used by multiple teams, improving reliability, throughput, and observability. You’ll shape best practices for event publishing, retries, and durability while collaborating with product teams to adopt async workflows. This is a chance to impact how services communicate at scale in a fast-growing, integral SaaS company.

• Operate and improve the async platform based on NATS; design, build, and maintain messaging and event-driven infrastructure used across multiple engineering teams
• Develop tooling, libraries, and platform capabilities to make asynchronous communication safer and more reliable
• Improve reliability, scalability, latency, throughput, and operational visibility of messaging systems
• Define best practices for event publishing, consuming, schema evolution, retries, dead-letter queues, backpressure, and message durability
• Partner with application teams to migrate, adopt, or optimize messaging and async workflows
• Troubleshoot complex production issues in distributed systems and drive long-term improvements




• Contribute to architecture decisions around event-driven systems and platform reliability
• Participate in incident response, postmortems, and continuous improvement of operational processes

Responsabilidades
• Strong software engineering background in infrastructure, platform engineering, backend systems, or distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with messaging/streaming/pub-sub tech such as NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pulsar or similar
• Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts: consistency, ordering, delivery guarantees, fault tolerance, retries, idempotency, backpressure
• Experience operating production systems at scale with monitoring, alerting, and incident response
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Go, Python, or similar
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and containerized environments (Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Ability to design pragmatic, reliable systems and communicate trade-offs clearly
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work across teams on shared infrastructure
