Experteer Overview
As Legal Counsel for Iberia, you act as a trusted legal partner to business units across Spain and Portugal, shaping legal strategy to enable growth while safeguarding people, assets and reputation. You’ll advise on commercial and regulatory risk, manage disputes and external counsel, and collaborate with regional and global teams to interpret applicable laws. This role blends business acumen with legal expertise to resolve complex issues pragmatically in a fast-moving, multinational context.

• Advise Sales, Marketing, E-commerce, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Logistics on legal matters
• Draft and negotiate complex commercial, customer, distribution, procurement and logistics agreements
• Support commercial strategies, promotions, marketing campaigns, digital initiatives and new business models
• Advise on Spanish and EU Competition Law, consumer protection, advertising, privacy and relevant food law matters
• Manage disputes and regulatory risks, and coordinate with external counsel




• Support risk assessment, compliance programs and internal investigations
• Provide risk assessments to enable informed business decisions and build relationships with senior stakeholders
• Contribute to Iberia, European and integral Legal projects

Responsabilidades
• ~8 years post-qualification experience in a leading law firm or multinational
• Qualified to practise law in Spain
• Strong experience in Commercial and Contract Law
• Solid knowledge of Spanish and EU Competition Law
• Experience advising on Sales, Marketing, Advertising and Consumer Protection matters
• Interest or experience in Compliance, risk assessment and internal investigations
• Working knowledge of Data Protection and Privacy
• Experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, FMCG or retail is a plus
• Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese valued
