Experteer Overview

As an Infrastructure Security Engineer at Factorial, you’ll own the security of our cloud and on-prem infrastructure, building a safer foundation through risk assessment, vulnerability management, and proactive defense. You will partner with SRE, IT, DX, and Security teams to bake security into architecture and CI/CD.

You’ll lead tooling, hardening, and incident response to sustain a resilient, compliant environment. This is a hands-on role with impact on how we scale securely.

- Lead risk assessment, vulnerability management, and remediation prioritization
- Conduct incident response investigations and root-cause analysis for infrastructure incidents
- Implement and maintain hardening strategies to raise resilience
- Develop and manage security tooling (CNAPP, CSPM, vulnerability scanners) for threat detection and compliance
- Secure CI/CD pipelines and runners within the delivery process
- Collaborate with Infra, IT,



DX and SRE teams to automate security controls
- Develop and update incident response plans and security policies

Responsabilidades

- 5+ years in Infrastructure Security or Security Engineering with cloud, IaC, and Kubernetes experience
- Experience with EDR, CNAPP, DLP, SIEM, and vulnerability management solutions
- Strong understanding of cyberattack TTPs related to infrastructure and cloud environments
- Deep experience with vulnerability scanning and risk prioritization workflows
- Solid knowledge of network security, Linux/Unix OS hardening, and IAM
- Automation mindset with scripting proficiency (Python, Bash) and AI awareness
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field, or equivalent experience
