The Repairs and Maintenance Surveyorrole:

We're looking for an ambitious and motivated Repairs andMaintenance Surveyor to join our team.

Within this role you will providetechnicalexpertiseonall aspects of building maintenance under the direction of theRepairs& MaintenanceManager andtheSeniorRepairs &Maintenance; Surveyor,ensuringa targetedright firsttimeand customer focussedapproach.





You will also maintain quality andsafetythroughoutthe delivery ofboth Revenue &Capitalworkstreams; whilst carrying out technical surveys,producedetailed scope of works and drawings, contractmanagementskills to track jobs from end to endandbe able toensurerobust financial controlacrossalldelegatedworkstreams.

Key duties and responsibilities of our Repairs and Maintenance Surveyor:

- Workin collaboration with other service areas, contribute towards the ongoingdevelopment and review of Strategy, Policy, Specification and Action Plans inrelation to Repairs & Maintenance.

- Effectivestakeholder and contract management skills to ensure daily operationsare maintained and for the completion of projectsincluding but not limited to acquisitions (including newbuild), voids and extensiveworks.

- Ensure designatedindividual projects are carried out to specification, design and withinthe appropriate time scales and budgetaryresources.

- Themanagement, organisation and chairing of meetings with ContractDelivery Partners and External Contractors including internal and externalagencies or departments as required.

- Beinvolved in the development, procurement, delivery, monitoring andreview of all Repair & Maintenance works and projects including monitoringperformance by measuring against contractual Key Performance Indicators whichwill involve contributing towards making Operational &Financial; decisionsand providing data and reports as required.

What we’re looking for in our Repairs and Maintenance Surveyor:

- RelevantLevel4 qualification(i.E.HNC / NVQ)orextensiveexperiencewith a willingness to achievethe abovequalificationin a reasonable timescale.

- Willingnesstoundertake further training asrequired, particularly in relation toHHSRS.

- Level3Diplomain Domestic Energy Assessmentorwillingnessto achievethe above qualificationin a reasonabletimescale.

- UnderstandingoftheRegulatorofSocialHousingsConsumerStandardsandourStatutoryDuties.

- Abilitytodiagnose building defects and make technical Experience of working in asimilar role within domestic and non-domestic stocks.
