With a culture focused on continuous improvement, people's wellbeing and professional growth, it is looking to hire an R&D; Manager specialised in cosmetic formulation and aerosol technology to lead its R&D; team and manage the full product development cycle.

Responsibilities

- Leadership of cosmetic product development in aerosol format (hair care, body care, personal care).
- Management of the full product cycle: from concept and formulation through to industrialisation and launch.
- Design and optimisation of formulations ensuring performance, stability and sensory attributes.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance (European Cosmetics Regulation, REACH, CLP).
- Planning and supervision of stability, compatibility and safety testing.
- Close collaboration with marketing and product teams to translate trends into innovative products.
- Leadership and mentoring of the R&D; team.
- Identification of emerging trends,



ingredients and technologies in cosmetic aerosols.
- Supplier management: raw materials, fragrances, packaging, valves and propellants.
- Preparation of technical documentation: PIF, safety assessments and technical dossiers.

Candidate Profile (M/F/D)

- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy or related fields.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in cosmetic product development, with a focus on aerosols and industrialisation processes.
- Previous team management experience will be valued.
- Strong knowledge of cosmetic formulation and aerosol technologies.
- Command of European cosmetics regulations and product safety requirements.
- Understanding of consumer trends and sensory product development.
- Project management skills and cross-functional collaboration ability.
- Fluent English, C1 level preferred.
