Job Description This role is part of EPG (European Packaging Group) which is acting as satellite of FLKS Design Center and Vernon Hills packaging lab. The Laboratory Technician Specialist will serve as a key contributor to the EPG Packaging Laboratory, supporting laboratory operations, quality system compliance, equipment lifecycle management, and test method development. This role is intended for a highly motivated and experienced professional with strong technical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the potential to progress into a Laboratory Engineer position.



The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to the Laboratory Supervisor, helping drive laboratory efficiency, compliance, continuous improvement, and technical excellence within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Laboratory Supervisor in maintaining compliance with internal Quality System requirements and applicable standards.
- Lead and support equipment qualification, validation, calibration, maintenance, and lifecycle management activities.
- Develop, optimize, verify, and validate new laboratory test methods and procedures.
- Support laboratory investigations, non-conformance assessments, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare, review, and maintain laboratory documentation, protocols, reports, work instructions, and technical records.
- Execute and oversee testing activities while ensuring data integrity, traceability, and compliance.
