The Opportunity
Core Lab Development (CLD), a part of Roche Diagnostics Solutions (RDS), is the general organization responsible for the development of tests in the area of clinical and immunochemistry, coagulation and mass spec and the related analytic systems. In addition, core lab also focuses on the development of lab automation comprising transport systems as well as pre- and post-analytical systems and the integration of the various systems to a comprehensive solution.
As an important component of this mission,



the Solution Automation Integration & Test (SAIT) Subchapter is tasked with providing essential services and capabilities to ensure the seamless integration, testing, and simulation of our Automation Systems and End-to-End Solutions. Within the SAIT Subchapter, we are seeking a Solution Workflow Simulation Team Lead.
As the SWS Team Lead, you will be an integral member of the SAIT subchapter, responsible for guiding a team of Simulation and Modeling Engineers spread between 3 sites. This team's core accountability lies in modeling complex laboratory workflows, optimizing system throughput, developing digital twins, and delivering virtual testing and emulation tools to support automation systems integration and operational decision-making.
