Plug:Chain turns curtailed renewable energy into revenue. We deploy flexible, high-density computing infrastructure next to solar plants and run it with our own platform, so energy the grid cannot absorb becomes income for the plant owner. Today, the computing load we run is Bitcoin mining: the most versátil, interruptible buyer of intermittent energy there is.
We are a Barcelona-based team working at the intersection of renewables, data centres and energy storage, and we are at the beginning. The first installations are operating, and the next stage is commercial: turning curtailment, a problem that grows every year for solar owners in Spain, into a portfolio of partner plants across Spain and beyond.
The role
This is a role for someone who wants to help build the commercial side of a company rather than join one that is already built. You will identify, analyse and open new commercial opportunities in key sectors of the energy transition: renewable energy, data centres and battery energy storage systems (BESS). Through market research,



first contact with key accounts and the preparation of strategic documents, you will play a central role in the company's expansion, with continuous training provided by the company.
Early stage means responsibility early: you will be in front of prospects, inside the financial models and in the board documents from your first months, with senior supervision and structured training, but without layers between you and the decisions.
Reports to: Head of Business Development / Expansion Lead
Experience: 0–4 years (junior/mid position with a structured career plan)

Market research: monitor and analyse competitors and trends in the data centre and battery storage sectors; identify new operators, regulation and emerging opportunities.
Prospecting and lead generation: initiate contact with potential clients, strategic partners and decision-makers through cold calls, email and LinkedIn, generating interest in our energy so
