About NEW IDEANEW IDEA is an international fashion company headquartered in Shaoxing, China, with a design office in Barcelona. We develop womenswear collections for international clients, combining market insight, trend awareness, product quality and commercial relevance.THE ROLEWe are looking for a Fashion Designer with strong design skills, commercial awareness and a client-oriented mindset. You will contribute to collection design and product development while also supporting client meetings, presentations and product discussions.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop womenswear collections based on trends, brand positioning and client needs.
- Prepare styles, fabrics, colour cards, samples and collection materials for client meetings.
- Join client visits and product presentations, translating client feedback into clear design and sample-development direction.
- Monitor market trends and competitors and provide commercially relevant product suggestions.
- Coordinate with design, sourcing, pattern-making and production teams in China to follow sample progress and quality.
- Participate in European market research, fabric sourcing and trade fairs,



with travel within Europe and to China when required.REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of womenswear or fast-fashion design experience; Experience with woven products, Inditex, Mango or comparable brands is highly valued.
- Strong fashion design skills with commercial thinking and client awareness.
- Professional working proficiency in both English and Spanish.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; strong sketching and presentation skills are valued.
- Proactive, confident and comfortable working in a multicultural environment and travelling when needed.
- Interest in Chinese culture or Chinese language skills is a plus.WHAT WE OFFER
