As Lead, UX Designer you will shape the end-to-end experience of Pearson's English Language Learning products. You will lead a global UX organization, translating product strategy into design direction and measurable outcomes. You’ll elevate design craft, systems, and research to deliver cohesive learner and teacher journeys across multiple squads.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on influence to drive impact at scale, within a mission-driven learning company.

- Own design system and UX operations, enabling scalable delivery and accessibility.
- Operate as a strategic partner to Product, Engineering, and leadership; align roadmaps with clear decision frameworks.
- Lead and develop a global design team, including managers and senior ICs; manage hiring and succession.

Responsabilidades

- 12+ years in UX, product design, or design leadership with 5+ years leading multi-team groups or managers.
- Proven experience setting design direction for complex, multi-product portfolios at scale.
- Track record of building and operating mature design systems, research practices, and UX operating models.
- Experience partnering with senior Product and Engineering leaders in global, matrixed orgs.
- Familiarity with English language learning, EdTech, or related education markets preferred.
- Essential: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, or related discipline.
