Core Responsibilities

1. Project Execution and Oversight:

- Project Coordination:Establish and implement the project quality plan, supervising daily activities to ensure work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and inspection & test procedures.
- Site Inspections:Conduct routine and detailed site inspections, witness material tests, verify workmanship, and issue non‑conformance reports when standards are not met.
- Compliance and Documentation:Prepare, manage, and submit all QA/QC documentation—including ITPs, method statements, and PERT/CPM quality schedules—accurately and on time.

- Technical and Regulatory Compliance:

- Materials and Standards Compliance:Verify that all construction materials, procedures, and finished work comply with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Environmental and Safety Compliance:Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and occupational‑safety requirements, halting work when necessary to prevent quality or safety breaches.

- Communication and Reporting:

- Stakeholder Engagement:Maintain open communication with client representatives, designers, and site teams to resolve quality issues and clarify technical requirements.
- Progress Reporting:Provide concise daily quality logs and comprehensive weekly QA/QC reports detailing inspection outcomes, test results, corrective actions,



and upcoming quality milestones.

- Quality Control and Project Evaluation:

- Inspection and Evaluation:Lead pre‑final and final inspections, compile punch lists, and ensure timely rectification of defects before handover.
- Documentation Accuracy:Archive complete, traceable records of inspections, test certificates, and photographic evidence for quality assurance, billing, and future audits.

- Leadership and Team Management:

- Team Leadership:Guide and mentor site personnel on QA/QC best practices, clarifying roles and fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
- Professional Development:Encourage continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and introducing new testing or inspection techniques to enhance overall project quality.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of focused QA/QC experience in Civil Works.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction quality standards, inspection procedures, and test methods.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Willingness to undergo training and adapt to new technologies or procedures.
