Senior Systems Engineer – Space – Barcelona – Hybrid Are you passionate about engineering complex systems in mission‑critical environments? YOUR MISSION
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will lead the engineering lifecycle of complex systems, driving requirements analysis, architecture definition, specification development, design reviews, and verification activities.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead technical activities in complex system engineering projects.
- Produce high‑quality technical and engineering documentation.
- Develop IVQ procedures: test definition, results analysis, and reporting.
- Coordinate engineering activities across multidisciplinary internal and external teams.
- Participate in project phase reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR...).
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a systems engineer leading complex technical projects.
- Experience in systems engineering processes during concept, specification, and design phases.
- Familiarity with the IVQ engineering discipline: test procedure definition, verification analysis, and reporting.
- Solid documentation and specification writing skills.
- Understanding of engineering best practices.
- Knowledge of security and cybersecurity principles.
- Familiarity with ESA ECSS and INCOSE engineering standards.
- Knowledge of GNSS systems, signals, performance, RF interference detection, and geolocation techniques.
