The Zanzibar Collection is an award-winning collection of four boutique luxury hotels and resorts located along the pristine southeast coast of Zanzibar. Renowned for highly personalized service and exceptional guest experiences, we are looking for an energetic, polished and guest-focused Assistant Guest Relations Manager to join our team.

THE OPPORTUNITY

- Working closely with the Guest Relations Manager and senior management, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests receive warm, attentive and highly personalized service throughout their stay.
- We are looking for someone who is visible, confident and genuinely passionate about hospitality — a natural host who enjoys engaging with an international clientele and takes pride in anticipating guest needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- • Assist in managing the guest relations function and daily guest experience
- • Welcome and engage with guests throughout their stay, ensuring a warm and personalized experience
- • Anticipate guest needs and proactively resolve requests, concerns and complaints
- • Build strong relationships with guests and contribute to guest satisfaction and loyalty
- • Coordinate closely with Front Office, F&B;, Housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless service
- • Assist with VIP arrivals, special occasions and personalized guest arrangements
- • Monitor guest feedback and identify opportunities to continuously improve the guest experience
- • Support and guide the Guest Relations team while maintaining high service standards

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR✔ Minimum 2–3 years' experience in Guest Relations,



Front Office or a comparable guest-facing role within a 4- or 5-star hotel or luxury resort ✔ Previous supervisory or team-lead experience will be an advantage

✔ Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

✔ Warm, confident and outgoing personality with a genuine passion for guest service

✔ Professional appearance and exceptional attention to detail

✔ Ability to remain calm, composed and solution-focused under pressure

✔ Excellent spoken and written English is essential

✔ Fluency in an additional foreign language is a significant advantage, particularly French, German, Italian or Spanish

✔ Knowledge of OPERA PMS and Microsoft Office applications will be an advantage

REMUNERATION & BENEFITS

- • USD 1,000 – 1,200 per month, dependent on experience
- • Minimum two-year contract
