As Associate Counsel, you will support Scopely’s fast-paced mobile games business from the Barcelona hub, advising across product, marketing, and privacy matters. You will partner with cross-functional teams to shape features, promotions, and regulatory compliance, while scaling legal processes and offering practical guidance. Your work will span live operations, campaigns, and IP strategy, contributing to a cohesive portfolio of games and initiatives.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
- Serve as day-to-day product counsel for multiple game teams on features, events, launches, live ops, and player-facing initiatives
- Provide guidance on marketing, advertising, campaigns, user acquisition, CRM communications, and community initiatives across titles
- Lead legal support for tournaments, promotions, and contests, including structure, rules, and IP considerations
- Support strategic IP counseling for portfolio initiatives, including naming, branding, licensing, asset clearance, and infringement matters
- Assist on EU regulatory initiatives affecting video games, including research, impact assessments, and cross-functional coordination
- Respond to routine privacy questions and escalate complex issues with privacy specialists
- Develop scalable resources—training, guidelines, templates—on marketing, IP, promotions, and consumer protection
- Identify opportunities to improve recurring legal work via processes, standardization, automation, and responsible AI tool use
Responsabilidades
- Minimum 3 years of legal experience at a law firm or in-house with tech/entertainment/gaming exposure
- Strong xugodme experience in marketing/review, IP matters (trademarks, copyright, asset clearance) and promotions
- Working knowledge of privacy and data protection; ability to handle routine questions and know when to escalate
- Bachelor’s degree; MSc preferred (or equivalent)
- Excellent English (Spanish a plus)
- Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance legal risk and business needs
- Willingness to engage with AI tools and improve how legal work is done
