An Android Developer is a key member of the technology team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure and high-quality applications for the Android platform. This includes writing clean and efficient Kotlin code, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features, troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance, and ensuring a seamless and privacy-focused user experience.

Developers are also expected to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in Android development to continuously improve code quality and development efficiency. Qualified candidates for this role bring deep expertise in native Android development, particularly in Kotlin, and have contributed to the successful delivery of large-scale applications. A strong grasp of mobile architecture patterns (such as MVVM), threading, and memory management is essential, along with experience handling complex data structures and implementing security and privacy best practices.
Design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin. Implement UX/UI designs and contribute to improving user experience and accessibility.
Integrate with back-end systems and services using modern Android tools and architectures.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across a wide range of Android devices. Stay informed about Android SDK updates, libraries, and development best practices. Write unit and UI tests to ensure stability and prevent regressions. 5 years of professional experience in Android development. ~ Proven experience working on at least two large native Android applications. ~ Proficiency in Kotlin and familiarity with Android SDKs and development tools. ~ Deep understanding of architectural patterns such as MVVM, threading models, and memory management on Android. ~ Experience with mobile app performance tuning, profiling, and security best practices. ~ Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques. ~ Comfortable using Git or other version control systems. ~ Ability to translate both quantitative and qualitative data into meaningful UX improvements. ~ Collaborative work environment and challenging high-impact projects.
