Design and implement robust, highly reliable software for safety-critical systems using functional safety and deep learning safety techniques.
Collaborate with machine learning, hardware, and core software teams to keep data pipelines, models, and middleware within defined safety envelopes.
Develop and optimize software for Linux and real-time operating systems.
Create testing frameworks and validation strategies for reliability and safety in edge-case scenarios.
Mentor junior engineers on safety-critical coding standards and best practices.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience focused on systems-level or embedded systems programming.
Proficiency in C++, C, or Rust and strong understanding of embedded software architecture.
Preferred qualifications include board bring-up, camera and LiDAR perception, formally certified safety-critical code,



and practical experience with ISO 26262, IEC 61508, or ISO 13849.
Experience with ROS 2, machine learning pipelines, Linux kernel configuration or module development, and QNX or similar real-time operating systems is preferred.
