In this role you will own the practical mechanics of protecting sensitive data across on‑premises, cloud, and transit. You will refine data classification, run DSPM scans, and align protections with DLP policies to minimize exposure. You’ll design and tune DLP controls across email, endpoints, and cloud, while tightening access and guiding secure migrations.

You’ll partner with IT and business units to drive adoption of data protection controls and communicate clear guidance to employees. This is a chance to shape how ALS safeguards data across environments at scale and with impact.

- Maintain and evolve the data classification scheme to reflect real data types and business context
- Run and interpret DSPM scans to locate sensitive data, exposure, and ownership




- Align classification outputs with DLP policy for consistent protection
- Design, implement, and tune DLP policies across email, endpoint, and cloud channels
- Review and tighten access controls over file shares, NAS, and collaboration platforms using least-privilege
- Support encryption, tokenisation, and retention decisions for sensitive stores
- Support migration projects moving data to governed platforms (e.g. SharePoint/OneDrive) xugodme with risk assessment
- Assess cloud storage configurations against organizational policy
- Maintain visibility of data movements using DSPM/CASB/CSPM tooling
- Produce clear, non-technical guidance for employees on data handling and migration steps
- Partner with IT and business units to drive adoption of new data protection controls
