This is a senior technical leadership role combining hands-on AI engineering, solution architecture and squad leadership. You will lead a cross-functional team of up to 6 engineers, define the technical direction of AI initiatives and oversee the delivery of scalable, production-ready solutions on Microsoft Azure.
The role has a strong focus on Generative AI and RAG architectures, with exposure to technologies such as LLMs, speech-to-text, computer vision and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP).
The project
You will join an international AI program focused on designing, developing and deploying advanced AI solutions in a Microsoft cloud environment.
Working closely with Product Owners, Data Scientists, frontend developers and business teams,
you will act as the technical reference for the AI squad, translating business needs into robust architectures and ensuring engineering quality throughout the entire solution lifecycle.
You will also help shape technical standards, identify opportunities to leverage emerging Generative AI technologies and support the continuous development of the engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a cross-functional AI squad of up to 6 engineers, ensuring alignment on technical direction, priorities and delivery timelines.
- Define and enforce technical standards, engineering best practices and architecture guidelines for AI solutions.
- Design and oversee the development of scalable backend systems and APIs supporting AI applications on Azure.
- Drive the design and implementation of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures and Generative AI solutions.
