As a .NET Payments Developer you will design, build, and maintain scalable payment services for millions of transactions. You’ll work with a cross-functional team across Europe to evolve Ryanair’s payment ecosystem, focusing on reliability, security, and a smooth customer experience. The role centers on integrating multiple payment providers and driving observability and operational excellence. This is a hands-on, high-impact opportunity within a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

- Build and enhance integrations with payment providers, acquirers, gateways, and alternative methods
- Ensure reliability, performance, and security of high-volume payment systems
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Finance, and commercial stakeholders to define new capabilities
- Contribute to the architecture and evolution of Ryanair's payment ecosystem with a focus on scalability and observability
- Promote engineering best practices: code quality, automated testing, CI/CD
- Monitor and optimize payment flows to improve conversion and reduce failures
- Participate in technical reviews and solution design workshops with stakeholders




- Support adoption of new payment methods and emerging technologies across digital channels

Responsabilidades

- Strong experience developing enterprise applications using C# and .NET Core / .NET
- Experience building and supporting payment platforms, transaction processing, or fintech apps
- Experience integrating with third-party payment gateways and financial APIs
- Understanding of payment processing concepts: authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, chargebacks, reconciliation
- Experience delivering cloud-native microservices in AWS (ECS, EKS, SNS, SQS, Lambda, CloudWatch) is a plus
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, xugodme and distributed systems
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
- Strong automated testing skills (unit/integration)
- Ability to develop high-volume, customer-facing apps in fast-paced environments
- Excellent problem-solving and cross-team collaboration skills
