At Hays, we are looking for a Network Operations Engineer to support the daily operation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of our OT network environment. Proven experience in network operations , ideally in complex enterprise or industrial environments. Handle daily network operations activities, including incidents, service requests, changes and troubleshooting.

Investigate connectivity issues across the full network path, not only at firewall level. Support troubleshooting of site-to-datacenter connectivity, VPNs, routing, switching, WAN links and firewall policies. Analyse incidents using monitoring tools, logs, ticket information and technical documentation.

Support network changes following agreed change management processes. Work with senior engineers, architects and other teams,



but without requiring constant supervision. Proven experience in network operations , ideally in complex enterprise or industrial environments. monitoring and logs Experience with firewalls, ideally Palo Alto , but equivalent experience with Fortinet, Cisco ASA/FTD, Check Point or similar is also relevant.

Experience working with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira or similar. Ability to work in English in a distributed international teamProactive and accountable. Permanent contract through Hays. Hybrid working model, with two days per week on-site at the office in Madrid.
