Madrid, Spain We are looking for experienced Project ControlsEngineer– Cost & Planning professionalsto support the successful delivery of our international energy projects from a cost, schedule, and overall project performance perspective.
Establish andmaintainthe Project Control Budget, translating the approved project estimate into an effective cost control structure.
Prepare, update, and periodically issue Cost Control Reports, providing clear visibility of budget, commitments, vigente costs, accruals, forecast, and Estimate at Completion (EAC).
Identifydeviations and trends providingtimelyanalysis and recommendations to Project Management.
Develop andmaintainproject cash flow forecasts and curves.
Support Purchase Order requests, commitments, and cost allocation processes in coordination with Procurement and Project Management.
Review contractor and supplier progress certifications and invoices, ensuring alignment with contractual terms, approved progress, and project budgets.
Perform periodic budget reconciliations between Project Controls and Finance systems.




Coordinate with Finance on project accounting activities, including the preparation of accruals, cost reclassifications, and other required journal entries.
Planning & Scheduling
Develop andmaintainintegrated baseline project schedules in close coordination with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Project Management teams.
Periodically update project schedule with actual progress and revise forecast dates, remaining durations, sequencing, and logic asrequired.
Prepare project S-curves and project progress calculation (earned value).
Review contractor and supplier schedules, assess their alignment with the overall project execution plan, andparticipatein regular progress and coordination meetings with contractors and suppliers.
Develop andmaintainthe project operational report/dashboard,monitoringkey project KPIs, progress, schedule performance, milestones, risks, and critical issues.
