Project Manager – Madrid

We’re continuing to grow our Madrid Delivery team and are looking for a Project Manager who can take ownership of fast-paced commercial interior and workplace projects from planning through to completion.

This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who enjoys being close to the project, the client and the site — coordinating teams, solving problems and making sure everything lands exactly as it should.

The role

You’ll work as part of our integrated Design & Build team, taking responsibility for the successful delivery of workplace and commercial fit-out projects.

You’ll be involved across the full project lifecycle, including:

- Managing projects from planning and mobilisation through construction, completion and handover
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout delivery
- Coordinating subcontractors, consultants and internal design and delivery teams
- Running and attending site meetings and maintaining clear communication across all parties
- Monitoring programme, quality, cost and progress on site
- Managing project schedules, documentation and reporting
- Identifying potential issues early and driving solutions before they impact delivery
- Supporting procurement, contractor coordination and project mobilisation
- Ensuring client expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle
- Working closely with the wider Unispace team across Preconstruction, Design and Delivery

The role is highly collaborative and will suit someone who enjoys taking ownership rather than simply administering a project.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with a strong grounding in construction project management,



ideally gained within:

Workplace fit-out | Commercial interiors | Design & Build | Office refurbishment | Tenant improvement

You’ll ideally bring

- Around 5–10 years’ experience in Project Management, Construction Management or Project Engineering
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and site delivery
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and different trades
- Confidence managing clients and senior stakeholders
- Strong programme, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of cost, programme and risk
- Experience with Microsoft Project and other construction/project management systems
- Fluent Spanish and strong professional English
- A construction, engineering, architecture or related technical qualification is advantageous

The underlying brief specifically calls for solid hands-on construction experience and trade/subcontractor coordination rather than someone coming purely from design or administrative project management.
