What You Will Do Cost Control & Financial Performance
Establish and maintain the Project Control Budget, translating the approved project estimate into an effective cost control structure.
Prepare, update, and periodically issue Cost Control Reports, providing clear visibility of budget, commitments, actual costs, accruals, forecast, and Estimate at Completion (EAC).
Identify deviations and trends providing timely analysis and recommendations to Project Management.
Develop and maintain project cash flow forecasts and curves.
Support Purchase Order requests, commitments, and cost allocation processes in coordination with Procurement and Project Management.
Review contractor and supplier progress certifications and invoices, ensuring alignment with contractual terms, approved progress, and project budgets.
Perform periodic budget reconciliations between Project Controls and Finance systems.
Coordinate with Finance on project accounting activities, including the preparation of accruals, cost reclassifications, and other required journal entries.
Planning & Scheduling




Develop and maintain integrated baseline project schedules in close coordination with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Project Management teams.
Periodically update project schedule with vigente progress and revise forecast dates, remaining durations, sequencing, and logic as required.
Prepare project S-curves and project progress calculation (earned value).
Review contractor and supplier schedules, assess their alignment with the overall project execution plan, and participate in regular progress and coordination meetings with contractors and suppliers.
Develop and maintain the project operational report/dashboard, monitoring key project KPIs, progress, schedule performance, milestones, risks, and critical issues.
Prepare and issue weekly and monthly project reports, ensuring clear and consistent communication of project status, trends, risks, and required actions.
