Job Title: Teacher - Vocational Studies Salary: Commencing at 31,916 with progression to 35,912 per annumClosing Date: About the Role Keighley College are seeking a Teacher of Vocational Studies to deliver high-quality, practical teaching. You will support learners to develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed for employment or further training in trade-based areas.
A key part of the role is to support learners of varying abilities, including those with additional learning needs, by adapting teaching methods and providing clear, structured guidance in a safe workshop or classroom environment. You will help learners develop essential employability skills such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and time management.
What You Will Do
- Ensure that the preparation, marking, assessment and moderation are completed promptly and efficiently within agreed timescales.
- Effectively manage the delivery of vocational units each individual learner, including appropriate support where necessary.




- Continuously demonstrate a commitment towards further professional development including the application of new technologies to improve the effectiveness of learning management.
- Ensure that EHCPs are updated and reviewed regularly
