As Senior BIM Manager at Arup Madrid, you will lead and refine BIM strategies across infrastructure and multidisciplinary projects, ensuring compliant information management per BIM standards. You’ll work closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to drive digital delivery and streamlined collaboration. You will shape BIM execution, governance, and templates to enable efficient project delivery at scale.

This role offers the opportunity to influence how Arup delivers sustainable, data-driven projects across Spain and beyond by advancing digital workflows and standard practices.

Compensaciones / Incentivos

- Lead BIM implementation strategies across infrastructure and multidisciplinary projects through all phases
- Review BIM requirements during bid/tender stages (EIRs, BEPs, BIM assessment)
- Attend Digital Inception Process (DIP) meetings and support project mobilisation
- Estimate and manage BIM management resource requirements across projects
- Prepare, implement, and improve Project BIM Execution Plans per ISO 19650
- Govern Common Data Environments (ACC, BIM Collaborate Pro, BIM 360, ProjectWise or equivalent)
- Organise and chair BIM kick-off meetings, coordination workshops, and design reviews
- Manage multidisciplinary model federation, clash detection, and compliance audits
- Coordinate BIM activities across Civil, Structural, Architectural and MEP disciplines




- Identify opportunities for BIM efficiency, automation, and digital innovation
- Support implementation of digital delivery initiatives and data-driven workflows
- Develop BIM standards, templates, workflows, and best-practice guidance
- Provide mentoring and support to BIM Coordinators and project teams
- Engage with clients and external stakeholders on BIM strategy and information management
- Lead and influence adoption of best-practice BIM processes throughout the project lifecycle

Responsabilidades

- Proven experience as BIM Manager, Lead BIM Coordinator, or Information Manager on infrastructure and/or building projects
- Strong understanding of ISO 19650 information management principles and BIM delivery processes
- Experience developing and managing BIM Execution xugodme Plans, EIR responses, and BIM delivery strategies
- Experience managing Common Data Environments and project information workflows
- Advanced knowledge of Revit, Civil 3D or similar, OpenRoads or similar, Tekla Structures, Navisworks Manage, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- Experience leading multidisciplinary BIM coordination and model review processes
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
