As a Senior Data Platform Engineer u0026amp; Cloud Architect at Keyrus in Barcelona, you will design, build, and modernise enterprise-scale AWS data platforms that empower multiple teams and data domains. You’ll blend hands-on engineering with architectural leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions, while advancing data governance and modern lakehouse technologies. You will mentor teams, drive platform initiatives, and bridge architecture with delivery in a cross-functional, international environment.

- Design, evolve and operate enterprise-scale AWS data platforms for multiple teams and data domains
- Define platform architecture, standards, guardrails, and reusable patterns
- Provide architectural leadership for platform initiatives and workload onboarding
- Deliver scalable, secure, and cost-efficient platform services; evaluate emerging technologies
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Terraform and IaC
- Develop automation frameworks with Ansible and scripting to reduce manual work




- Improve reliability, observability, governance, and FinOps through automation
- Lead incident resolution, KPI definition, and platform cost optimisation
- Evolve Airflow/MWAA platform services and workflow orchestration
- Support AWS data workloads with Redshift and modern data processing frameworks
- Enable scalable data sharing and data consumption; ensure governance and security
- Mentor engineering teams; collaborate with Architecture, Security, Governance, Delivery and Business stakeholders
- Produce technical documentation, standards and reference architectures
- Lead POCs and platform modernisation initiatives, translating vision into delivery

Responsabilidades

- xugodme 8+ years in Data Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering or DevOps
- 5+ years with AWS technologies
- 3+ years leading technical implementation initiatives
- Experience designing or operating enterprise-scale cloud data platforms
- Experience in Agile environments using Jira and Confluence
- Professional proficiency in English
