You will lead a cross-functional team of up to 6 engineers, define the technical direction of AI initiatives and oversee the delivery of scalable, production-ready solutions onMicrosoft Azure .The role has a strong focus onGenerative AI and RAG architectures , with exposure to technologies such asLLMs, speech-to-text, computer vision and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) .The projectYou will join an international AI program focused on designing, developing and deploying advanced AI solutions in a Microsoft cloud environment.Working closely with Product Owners, Data Scientists, frontend developers and business teams, you will act as thetechnical reference for the AI squad , translating business needs into robust architectures and ensuring engineering quality throughout the entire solution lifecycle.You will also help shape technical standards, identify opportunities to leverage emerging Generative AI technologies and support the continuous development of the engineering team.ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate across-functional AI squad of up to 6 engineers , ensuring alignment on technical direction, priorities and delivery timelines.Define and enforcetechnical standards, engineering best practices and architecture guidelinesfor AI solutions.Design and oversee the development ofscalable backend systems and APIssupporting AI applications on Azure.Drive the design and implementation ofRAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architecturesand Generative AI solutions.Lead the integration of advanced AI capabilities, includingLLMs, speech-to-text,



computer vision and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) .Architect and validate cloud-native AI solutions usingMicrosoft Azureservices.Work with technologies such asAzure Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB, Azure Key Vault and Azure OpenAI .Conductcode reviewsand ensure high standards of software quality, maintainability and scalability.Mentor engineers and support the technicalupskilling and development of squad members .Act as the technical interface between the AI squad andProduct Owners, Data Scientists, frontend developers and business stakeholders .Define standards formonitoring, reliability, observability and high availabilityof production AI solutions.Stay up to date with developments inGenerative AI, LLMs, RAG and prompt engineering , translating relevant innovations into actionable initiatives for the squad.RequirementsStrong experience leadingAI engineering teams or technical squadsand delivering end-to-end AI solutions.Proven experience designing and deployingAI solutions in cloud environments .Strong knowledge ofGenerative AI and RAG architectures .Hands-on experience working withLLMsand integrating them into production applications.Strong backend engineering experience, including the design ofscalable APIs and services .Solid experience withMicrosoft Azureand cloud-native architectures.Experience with services such asAzure Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB, Azure Key Vault and Azure OpenAI .Strong understanding ofsoftware architecture, engineering best practices and code quality standards .Experience conductingcode reviews,
