Are you passionate about the performing arts and eager to share your knowledge with enthusiastic students? A training organization in Palma is looking for a dedicated Theater Workshop Instructor to lead engaging theater courses. In this role, you will design dynamic sessions, inspire participants through practical and theoretical acting techniques, and foster a creative, supportive learning environment right in the heart of Mallorca.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Planning and leading dynamic, interactive, and participatory theater workshop sessions.
- Teaching both fundamental theoretical concepts and practical performing arts skills.
- Monitoring individual participant progress and supporting the collective group dynamic throughout the course.
- Managing the classroom setting to ensure an engaging, safe, and productive space for artistic expression.
To be successful in this position, you should meet the following requirements:
- A completed intermediate vocational training qualification (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio) or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of verifiable experience in teaching theater or performing arts workshops.
- Proficiency in Catalan (B2 level) and Spanish (B2 level) to communicate effectively and deliver instruction.
- Strong interpersonal, motivational, and pedagogical skills tailored to dynamic group workshops.
What this position offers:
- A fixed-discontinuous contract (contrato fijo discontinuo) for an approximate duration of 9 months.
- A part-time schedule of 5 hours per week during afternoon hours.
- Fixed working hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 17:00 to 18:30, and Wednesdays from 16:0= 4018:00.
- A gross salary of 18 € per hour.
