In this role you will craft robust embedded software for automotive platforms, including UWB/RTLS and power management. You’ll work within a global automotive software team, ensuring secure-by-design practices and first-pass integration readiness. The position centers on end-to-end firmware lifecycle, from design to verification, with impact on major car makers and Tier 1 partners. You’ll drive technical excellence and collaboration across boundaries to deliver safe, scalable software.
Compensaciones / Ventajas
- Bridge SW architecture and development teams with a clear design and implementation plan
- Perform detailed design, implementation, and unit/integration testing
- Lead firmware safety analyses (ISO 26262) and apply DFSS tools
- Participate in stage-gate frameworks and NFR budgeting (latency, memory, power)
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, and quality teams to ensure integration
- Implement secure lifecycle features (secure boot, image signing, OTA with rollback)
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices across the team
- Support complex integration issues and field escalations
- Ensure backward compatibility and versioning discipline
- Drive continuous improvement and manage project risks and schedules
Responsabilidades
- 8+ years of automotive embedded software experience
- Proficiency in ANSI C (89/99)
- Microcontroller-based system development experience
- Strong C toolchain knowledge (compiler/linker)
- Unit and integration testing experience (CPPUTEST/TESSY/GOOGLE TEST)
- SDLC expertise and modern agile toolset experience
- UML with Enterprise Architect
- Secure xugodme and safe coding standards for C (MISRA C)
- Knowledge of peripherals (ADC, GPIO, SPI, I2C, UART) and protocols (LIN, CAN, SENT, PWM, Modbus)
- Experience with debugging tools (Oscilloscopes, JTAG, Logic Analyzers) and version control (GIT)
- Familiarity with Vector tools (CANoe/Canalyzer)
- Ability to work across time zones and with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills
- ISO 26262 knowledge
