Hands‑on clinical trials nursing across 150+ trials in a large, well‑resourced unit Salary Package: From $82,666 – $110,115 per annum (RN Level 2-8), + 12% superannuation + access to salary packaging via Maxxia to maximise your take‑home pay (including venue hire, meals, entertainment and novated leasing). Salary based on the enterprise agreement and relevant nursing experience year level. About the Role

This position is an integral part of a multidisciplinary clinical trials team that includes clinicians, study coordinators, pharmacists, laboratory technicians and radiologists. You will combine hands‑on clinical care with the precision and rigour required by trial protocols, supporting both participants and colleagues while contributing to research that shapes future treatment options for patients across Australia.

Provide clinical support including collecting biological samples, administering study medication (oral, injection and infusion), monitoring vital signs, conducting ECGs, and assisting participants with medications and adverse event management. Provide guidance to oncology nursing staff on the administration of investigational products in accordance with trial protocols. Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care to trial participants, including communication with their support people, and communicate trial processes and results with empathy and accuracy. Resolve or appropriately escalate participant issues confidentially and sensitively, respecting patient privacy at all times. Mentor and support Clinical Trial Coordinators with patient care, and ensure data accurately reflects the participant experience in the trial.

Some overtime and infrequent weekend work is required due to the nature of clinical trials; however, this is shared across the team, with time‑in‑lieu or overtime pay arrangements in place.

About You

You are a compassionate, patient‑focused Registered Nurse who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and brings excellent time management and initiative. An interest in research — or a genuine willingness to learn — will see you succeed here.

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Hospital‑based nursing experience, with previous oncology experience highly desirable.

If detailing previous clinical trial or other relevant experience, please specify the therapeutic area, level of patient interaction, and a summary of your responsibilities.

Demonstrated experience performing venepuncture and cannulation, and administering medications including intravenous, intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.

Experience developing and delivering patient education.

Highly developed customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement.

Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, and a proven record as a supportive team player who shares workload and takes initiative.
